Question 1

How is voter privacy and ballot secrecy protected on Janmat Digital?

Accepted Answer

We utilize salted HMAC-SHA256 privacy tokens. IP addresses and connection identifiers are hashed with a cryptographic salt; raw IPs and personal identifiers are never stored alongside ballot choices. The choice a voter makes cannot be reverse-engineered or traced back to their identity.

Question 2

Can one person vote multiple times using incognito mode, multiple tabs, or bots?

Accepted Answer

No. Our system enforces multi-signal validation combining browser tokens with server-side salted IP hashing, atomic mutex locking, and passive challenge heuristics to prevent duplicate voting.

Question 3

What happens if a voter is coerced under physical observation?

Accepted Answer

Janmat Digital features an Anti-Coercion Protocol that allows voters to modify their vote once from a private device. If someone is forced to cast a vote under direct observation, they can securely update their choice later. Only their final verified choice is tallied.

Question 4

Is Janmat Digital affiliated with the Election Commission of India (ECI)?

Accepted Answer

No. Janmat Digital is an independent electoral technology platform providing public opinion surveys and institutional election services for RWAs, cooperative societies, trade chambers, and universities. It is not affiliated with the statutory Election Commission of India.

Question 5

How can our RWA, cooperative society, or university organize an election?

Accepted Answer

You can request a demo or proposal through our 'Get Proposal' page. Janmat Digital provides end-to-end turnkey election administration, voter roster verification, secret ballot design, and verifiable tally logs.

Question 6

Can voters correct an accidental mistake during voting?

Accepted Answer
